Our Story

Nurture Women’s Health & Fertility was born from a simple but powerful vision — to create a space where women feel truly cared for, heard, and supported through every stage of life.

Founder Dana Ramsey, CNM, MSN, RN, had spent over two decades working in women’s health and saw a consistent need for something more — care that wasn’t rushed, disconnected, or limited to symptoms, but care that honored the whole woman. She imagined a place where medicine and mindfulness could coexist; where fertility, pregnancy, hormonal health, and emotional well-being were seen as interconnected pieces of the same story.

From that vision, Nurture came to life — a collaborative practice built on compassion, expertise, and trust. What began as a small women’s health office has grown into a comprehensive center offering integrative gynecologic, fertility, perinatal, and mental health services.

Today, Nurture continues to expand its circle of care — uniting providers, therapists, and specialists who share the same belief: that women deserve a healthcare experience rooted in empathy, education, and empowerment.

Because when women are nurtured, they thrive — and so do the families and communities around them.

    Samantha Demesmaeker, RN

Samantha Demesmaeker (she/her) is a Registered Nurse and Functional Medicine Consultant dedicated to bridging the gap between allopathic and functional medicine. Through nursing school, she witnessed the impact that environment, nutrition, and lifestyle have on long-term health. After working in health care for nine years, she saw firsthand how many chronic illnesses could be improved—or even prevented—through intentional changes in diet and daily habits. This realization inspired her to expand her expertise beyond conventional medicine and pursue training as both a Functional Medicine Nurse and a Functional Medicine Nutritionist.

As a Functional Medicine Nurse and a Functional Nutritionist, Samantha takes a root cause approach to demystifying symptoms. She believes in the innate self-wisdom and intuition that each individual possesses and sees these as invaluable tools in the healing process. Her mission is to listen, validate, and guide her patients toward understanding their bodies while equipping them with the knowledge and tools they need to support their own health. She is a firm believer that food is medicine and that true wellness is achieved through empowerment, not dependence.
